Laurel & Caleb's engagement session at Hermit Park Open Space in Estes Park, Colorado was perfect in every way! Laurel's sister has been my best friend since I was in third grade, so you can imagine how often I ended up spending time with her as a kid. It is always so special seeing those people you've known for more than half of your life reach new milestones, and always such an hour to be able to capture them!
Like so many modern love stories (including my own!), Laurel & Caleb met on online. They quickly realized that although they didn't know each other prior to their first online encounter, Laurel's aunt and uncle were friends with Caleb's parents! After dating for 3.5 years, Caleb finally popped the question. While in Gunnison, where both Laurel & Caleb both have family, Caleb took Laurel to his favorite fishing spot that he spent countless hours at growing up. Before Laurel knew it, Caleb was down on one knee, ring in hand.
When taking their engagement photos, they knew the mountains were important to include. So, this adventurous pair and I went hiking in Hermit Park to this gorgeous view of Estes Park and the Rockies! Despite it pouring on the way there, the rain broke shortly after we began and gave us the most perfect weather. Caleb & Laurel were so much fun to spend time with, and it is SO each to see how perfect they are for each other! Between sharing stories of their sweet pup Bella to swapping wedding planning tips, the time we spent together flew by. Congratulations on his new adventure!
